Digital Upgrades

C&I can support and manage your Digital Upgrade needs with such products as Triconex hardware and software including the necessary design requirements, testing, documentation, pre-op testing, and system turnover involved with a plant systems upgrades.

Our Design Engineering teams have completed a wide variety of Design Modifications including upgrades from analog to digital or to analog/digital hybrids. The C&I design team will work to provide Independent Modification Design Reviews, including Hardware and Software Reviews. The team will address and review the entire Plant Modification Change, Testing Guidelines, and Software concerns per 10CFR50 Appendix B, Criterion, Regulatory Guidelines, and IEEE’s 730, 830, 1012, 1016, 1059 for digital related systems, verification of EMI/RFI Test Reports per Regulatory Guide 1.180, EPRI TR-102323 and MIL STD 461E.

C&I team will also review, in detail the Software Hardware and Software Configuration Matrix Logic, Software Configuration Plan, FMEA documentation, Common Failure Modes documentation, Maintenance Calibration Procedures, maintenance, and operation’s Surveillances.

Our team can assist in correcting any plant design changes and respond to emergent plant hardware and software changes to support the fast track Digital Upgrades Design Modification, as directed, by our client.
